I haven't made harina in ages, but when I do I usually follow the instructions on the package of the harina de maiz (corn meal).

I'll see if I can find a source for the recipe, but it varies as some people like it sweet and others savory. If it's sweet I cook the harina in milk. If savory I like to use chicken broth.

After thoroughly checking this website for harina recipes, I did not find any. The harina mentioned in the website are harina de trigo (wheat flour) recipes, such as for bread etc......

The recipe for harina the writer was asking for is harina de maiz, or corn meal or like the Italian polenta.

I'm still searching for some good Cuban style harina recipes
