Hello. I'm am decorating a quinceñera and I have come up with most of the decor but I can't figure out what would be a good centerpiece for the tables. If anyone has any suggestions, please get back to me. I really appreciate it! Thanks

Hi. I recently started looking online for a theme for my daughter's sweet sixteen party and loved the Havana Nights theme. (Our favorite movie is Dirty Dancing Havana Nights). Anyway, one of the centerpieces I'm considering is a small areca palm tree. I found one online at amazing greenhouse.com. It's only 12" high, its silk and only about $8 per. Another thought I had was a Mojito glass with palm fronds or banana leaves maybe mixed with roses or something else, not sure yet. Another idea I'm tossing around is a set of bongos or a conga drum in the center with balloons attached. Another idea I thought of (they just keep coming to me) is to get a picture stand (The ones with little circles on them that hold pictures) and have them holding vintage postcards from cuba with maybe some balloons tied to the top. That could get expensive though because the postcards are quite pricey. So if you like that idea, what I would do is buy just a few, scan them, and print them out on card stock. Hope I helped. Now I just have to help myself decide. biggrin.gif

What a great bunch of ideas!!!

I love the one with the little bongo drums, etc. You can add maracas.

Also, since some of the ideas could be pricey, why not do all the tables differently. One with the bongos, another with the postcard tree, and others with the palms, etc.

Don't forget little Cuban flags
