My mom is turning 80 this summer and we are throwing her a BIG party (approx 150 guests). She lives in south TX. The party will take place in a reception hall on a weeknight. I am mainly looking for ideas for dectorations and some type of memory wall or book. It is also difficult to use pics of her childhood cause she brought nothing of that with her to the states 40 years ago.
Did i mention I have zero creativity. So please help!

P.S. I did get some ideas from this forum

There are several places on the internet where you can find posters and other Cuban paraphenelia for decorating.

Since the party is this summer, you might have a bit of time to do a bit of sleuthing......do you have relatives in Cuba that might have photos of your mom growing up? Maybe they can help you.

If you do manage to get some, there are places you can take the photos and turn them into wall posters.

I wish you good hunting!
